Job summary

Golden Entertainment LLC is seeking a Fixed Asset Manager to oversee daily fixed asset records within our hospitality and gaming environment in Las Vegas. You will ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers are recorded in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.

You will lead a small team, drive process improvements, coordinate with operations and finance, and support audits with complete schedules and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and fixed asset lifecycle management
• Experience in asset capitalization, reconciliation, and audit support
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage teams across departments
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (Workday)

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance and service excellence
• Execute fixed asset accounting processes including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset transfers per GAAP
• Maintain fixed asset subledger and reconcile to general ledger
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end fixed asset close and audit schedules
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance fixed asset tracking and reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and finance to ensure proper asset classification and closeout
