ChemPoint in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Accountant II to own technology and fixed asset accounting, CIP tracking, and project allocations. You will reconcile vendor activity to GL, manage depreciation, and support intercompany settlements across NA and EMEA.

The role includes tax compliance and audit support within a hybrid work setting. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in corporate accounting, strong Excel, and experience with fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years corporate accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Experience with fixed assets, capital projects, and intercompany accounting.
• Sales/use tax and European VAT exposure is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets and lookups.

Responsabilités

• Perform technology and fixed asset accounting, including CIP tracking and project allocations.
• Review vendor transactions and reconcile to records and GL.
• Determine OpEx vs CapEx allocation rates per policy.
• Maintain project and fixed asset records; place assets in service.
• Run depreciation and amortization schedules and finalize reports.
• Manage intercompany accounting across North America and EMEA; settlements and eliminations.
• Support SOX controls, audits, and PBC schedules.
• Assist with state and local tax and European VAT compliance.
• Prepare balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations; investigate variances.
