Interface, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Fixed Asset Accountant to manage the subledger for machinery, equipment, buildings, and CIP across multiple sites.

You will prepare depreciation, track asset changes, and ensure accuracy in a SOX‑compliant, GAAP environment. In this role you will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to validate capitalization, support audits, and deliver timely fixed asset reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience required, with fixed asset accounting or manufacturing accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP related to fixed assets, capitalization, depreciation, disposals.
• Experience in manufacturing, plant accounting, or multi-site environment preferred.
• Familiarity with capital expenditure processes and fixed asset subledger maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the fixed asset subledger and record asset additions, transfers, retirements, disposals, and depreciation accurately.
• Review capital expenditure activity and supporting documentation for proper capitalization and classification.
• Prepare monthly depreciation, asset additions, disposals, transfers, and reclassifications entries.
• Reconcile fixed asset balances to the general ledger and resolve reconciling items.
• Assist with physical inventories, asset verification, and audits; provide documentation.
