Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to manage the capital expenditure process, maintain the fixed asset subledger, and prepare monthly journal entries in accordance with GAAP. The role reports to the General Accounting Supervisor and involves collaboration with multiple PACCAR divisions.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 1+ year of accounting experience and be proficient in Excel, SAP FICO, and data analytics tools such as Tableau and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 1+ years relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, macros) and data analytics tools such as Tableau/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Manage Capital Expenditure process with Division Capital Budget Manager.
• Record monthly capital expenditures across departments.
• Ensure accuracy of Fixed Asset subledger using SAP and CBSR systems.
• Coordinate with PDCs for asset disposals and tagging.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for Home Office and Fixed Assets.
