Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a General Accountant in Renton, WA to manage capital expenditure and fixed asset processes, ensuring GAAP-compliant monthly closings. You will work with cross-functional teams to record capex, track asset additions, and prepare journal entries.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting and 1+ year of accounting experience, with strong Excel and data analytics skills. Travel within the US and internationally may be required, and PACCAR offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Proficiency with Excel including pivot tables and macros.
• Experience with SAP FICO and data visualization tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Capital Expenditure process with Division Capital Budget Manager.
• Record monthly capital expenditures across departments.
• Ensure accuracy of the Fixed Asset subledger and asset tagging.
• Coordinate with PDCs for timely fixed assets disposals.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for Home Office and Fixed Assets.
