Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Fixed Asset Accounting Accountant II to manage accurate tracking and reporting of company fixed assets. You will maintain asset records, support transfers and disposals, and assist with monthly close tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across accounting, operations, IT, and finance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience in accounting, finance, or business.
• Three years of related accounting, finance, fixed asset, inventory, asset management, or administrative experience.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and handling large data sets in reports.
• Ability to follow established procedures, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update fixed asset records in the asset register and related tracking tools.
• Support asset transfer, disposal, retirement, and verification processes with required approvals.
• Assist with periodic physical asset verification and follow up on missing or obsolete assets.
• Prepare fixed asset reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management and audits.
• Support monthly close activities related to fixed assets, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with asset custodians, department managers, IT, facilities, and finance to resolve asset questions.
• Review asset additions, transfers, disposals, and retirements for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist depreciation, capitalization, and fixed asset accounting support as needed.
• Maintain organized documentation for fixed asset transactions and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve fixed asset processes and controls.
