Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. You will deliver treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and help advance patient goals in a luxurious, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include documenting progress weekly, collaborating with interdisciplinary staff, and ensuring timely, professional care for long-term and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for the state of FL.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of Physical Therapist.
• Experience with long-term and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation and weekly progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under PT supervision.
• Deliver treatment aligned with goals developed by the PT.
• Provide feedback via documentation as required by policy.
• Collaborate with disciplines to ensure patient-centered care.
• Maintain timely progress notes and professional conduct.
