Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas in Fuquay-Varina, NC seeks a results-driven Fitness Sales Manager to lead our Personal Training team and grow the training department. You'll coach top trainers, drive PT sales with integrity, manage schedules, and foster a culture of professionalism.

This role rewards leadership, accountability, and measurable performance across the club. Ideal candidate will be on the gym floor daily, develop systems for growth, and collaborate with club leadership on events

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification preferred (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, NPTI).
• CPR/AED certification current.
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations.
• Professional appearance, leadership presence, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises on the gym floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team
• Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing trainers
• Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations
• Track team performance metrics - sales, session volume, retention, and engagement
• Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility

Requirements
