A leading fitness franchise in Sacramento is seeking an experienced Fitness Coach who will lead group workouts and help members achieve their fitness goals. The ideal candidate must possess a current fitness certification and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Formación

Fitness Coach – Land Park, Sacramento, CA 95822 – Hourly – Part- or Full-time, on-site

Job Overview

West Coast Fitness (West Coast Fitness) is a leading franchisee of Orangetheory® Fitness with 45+ studios in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Ohio markets. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate members through predetermined 60‑minute group workouts.
• Help members set and achieve individual fitness goals.
• Ensure proper exercise form and provide corrective feedback.
• Apply heart‑rate‑focused training science and stay aware of industry trends.
• Act as a team player and contribute to studio culture.
• Coach a minimum of 8 classes per week.

Qualifications

• Education and Certifications – Hold a current fitness certification approved by Orangetheory Fitness (ACE, NASM, AFAA, NSCA, ACSM) and a current AED/CPR certificate. 10+ hours per year of continuing education outside OTF curriculum.
• Knowledge and Experience – Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics; functional understanding of heart‑rate‑based training; 2 years of experience as a group or personal trainer preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook a plus.
• Soft Skills – Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; ability to multi‑task; excellent customer service; team player mindset.

Physical Requirements

The role requires being on your feet while leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout. You must be able to lift and/or move up to 80 lbs as needed and use hands to signal, handle, or feel as necessary.

• Pay – $35 to $65 per class (hourly equivalent $35.00 to $65.00 per hour).
