Job summary

10 Fitness is hiring an Assistant Manager to uphold the member experience and support club operations. You will lead staff, coordinate with the General Manager on staffing and policy, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for members and guests.

You will also drive sales of memberships and services, manage inventory and vendor relations, and help achieve monthly and annual financial goals while coaching team members toward growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months experience in sales/customer service.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with the General Manager on staff, members, and sales.
• Help ensure adequate staffing; assist in hiring/firing and recruiting.
• Run regular meetings to discuss policy changes, sales updates, coaching and development.
• Ensure club signage and displays are correct at all times.
• Ensure employees follow company policies and maintain a safe, friendly workplace.
• Approve time off requests/timecard changes in GM’s absence.
• Coach staff for growth and model 10 Fitness standards.
• Assist in ordering club supplies from vendors as needed.
• Help control expenses by managing payroll/overtime and over-ordering.
• Manage inventory and lock up retail items; review packing slips.
• Support Group Exercise instructors, classes, and attendance per standards.
• Aim to meet monthly and yearly financial goals set by Corporate.
• Lead or attend staff meetings; report improvements to Corporate.
• Provide helpful information to improve business in the club/market.
