You will also participate in staffing, training, and developing employees, and support marketing efforts and financial controls to contribute to the club’s success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn systems quickly.
• Strong leadership, team-building and coaching skills.
• Direct experience managing customer-focused teams in the fitness or similar industry.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
• Organized, problem-solver with planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high-performing staff across roles.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Staff management: schedule shifts and ensure coverage.
• Payroll processing for weekly/bi-weekly periods.
• Resolve employee issues and manage progressive discipline.
• Lead front desk activities: greeting, check-ins, inquiries.
• Oversee facility cleanliness and safety, coordinate with maintenance.
• Support marketing efforts and communicate promotions to staff.
• Approve expenditures and conduct daily bank deposits.
• Prepare HR forms and coordinate with Corporate HR.
• Track weekly/monthly/annual statistics and reports.
• Provide backup support for absent employees; perform other duties.
