Job summary

IGNITE Fitness Holdings is seeking a General Manager in Waterford, CT to lead a high-volume gym operation, drive membership growth, and optimize revenue and customer satisfaction. You will hire, coach, and supervise staff, ensure a clean and welcoming club, and partner with local businesses to grow community memberships.

The role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a focus on delivering PF brand excellence across daily operations, payroll management, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of management preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general technology
• Experience in a multi-unit organization is a plus

Responsibilities

• Effectively recruit, lead, manage, communicate, train, and develop an entire staff including Assistant Manager, Front Desk employees, and Fitness Trainers
• Promote a superior customer and club experience by maintaining a clean, friendly, and well-maintained environment for members and team members
• Drive club revenue growth and profitability by increasing membership and EFT per member, reducing attrition, managing/collecting bad debt, and growing retail sales
• Lead field marketing and corporate sales efforts in the communities served, attending local events and developing partnerships
• Set, communicate, and track performance across operational metrics to achieve goals
• Monitor payroll and scheduling to stay within budgeted hours and maintain appropriate staffing
• Ensure brand standards and standard operating procedures are followed and maintained
• Travel occasionally to assist other locations and community events
