Job summary

Planet Fitness in Elizabethton, TN is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk staff and support the General Manager. You will focus on front of house operations, ensure smooth daily activity, and deliver excellent member service in a fast-paced club environment.

Responsibilities include supervising team performance, assisting in hiring, monitoring inventory, and upholding company standards. Candidates should be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong communication

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 6 months supervisor/manager experience in a high-volume retail or restaurant environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Bi-lingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive club metrics in line with business performance
• Aid in interviewing and recruitment through initial phone screenings
• Monitor inventory and review sales numbers with GM to identify opportunities
• Uphold company standards and lead by example in delivering the mission and values
• Coordinate disciplinary actions with GM/Regional Manager/HR
• Mentor Front End staff for career growth and development
• Cover shifts when needed and assist with audits and cleanliness
