Job summary

Plus One, an Optum Company, is seeking a friendly Receptionist for its downtown Manhattan fitness center. You will greet members and guests, handle inquiries, and support front desk operations with a customer-first mindset.

You will also manage payments, assist with bookings, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment. CPR/AED certification may be required, with company reimbursement per policy.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused demeanor and professional presentation.
• Proven ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly at the facility entrance.
• Respond to feedback or concerns promptly; escalate to management when needed.
• Process account inquiries and payments at the front desk.
• Fulfill front desk administrative duties.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and manage inventory of supplies and retail items.
