Under the direction of Fitness Center Management, the attendant executes and ensures daily operations are performed according to established policies and practices. They ensure the facilities remain clean, promote a friendly atmosphere, and assist patrons with questions and equipment needs. Providing superb customer service to military patrons is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fitness center rules, regulations, and safety practices are properly enforced
• Ensure security and accountability of equipment and property
• Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of equipment
• Maintain accurate event and facility attendance records for programs
• Handle telephone inquiries, greet visitors, and provide information as needed
• Assist with special events within the department
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Customer service experience, preferably in a fitness center environment
• Availability to work any/all shifts as needed (early AM to late PM)
• Willingness to work on holidays
