Qualifications

Looking for a consistent weekend job in a welcoming, professional environment?

Colleton River Club is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Weekend Fitness Administrative Assistant to support our Fitness & Wellness team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and providing excellent service — without giving up their weekdays.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM

Hours: Approximately 12 hours per week

What You’ll Do

As the weekend administrative presence in our Fitness & Wellness facility, you’ll help keep things running smoothly while providing a warm and professional experience for our members.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting members and guests and providing friendly front desk service
• Answering phones and assisting with general questions
• Helping members with reservations, registrations, cancellations, and scheduling
• Maintaining attendance, scheduling, and program records
• Using Microsoft Office and Club systems for routine administrative tasks
• Communicating facility schedules, programs, and general information
• Keeping the front desk organized and supplies stocked
• Completing weekend opening, closing, and administrative checklists
• Keeping an eye on the general condition of the facility and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Providing administrative support for fitness, wellness, recreation, and special programs

This is an administrative position. You will not be expected to provide personal training, teach fitness classes, or coach members.

• Comfortable learning scheduling and point-of-sale software
• Able to handle confidential information professionally
• CPR/AED and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification after hire

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in administrative support, reception, hospitality, fitness, recreation, customer service, or private clubs is a plus.
