St Mary's Wellness Center in Athens, GA is seeking a Fitness Center Aide to join the day shift. The role includes front desk duties, greeting clients, answering phones, taking payments, and supervising clients using the wellness center.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, Basic Life Support certification, and excellent customer service and communication skills; a bachelor’s degree or progress in exercise science/health promotion is a plus.

What You Will Do

• Maintains the Front Desk in the Wellness Center.
• Greets clients, answers phone, and takes payments.
• Assists with Hands on training and providing supervision of clients using the Wellness Center.
• Various other clerical and cleaning duties

What You Will Need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic life support certification required. Nationally recognized aerobics certification preferred. Personal training certification preferred.
• Education: Must have a high school diploma. Ideal candidate may have a Bachelor’s degree or be working toward completion of a degree in exercise science or health promotion.
• Experience: Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience working in a medical fitness center preferred.
