Job summary

Trinity Health Corp. seeks a Fitness Center Aide for St Mary's Wellness Center in Athens, GA. The role is a full-time day shift position from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities at the front desk, client check-ins, and supervising activities.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling phone inquiries, taking payments, and supporting clerical tasks. Certifications in life support and fitness are preferred, with education toward health promotion encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic life support certification required.
• Nationally recognized aerobics certification preferred.
• Personal training certification preferred.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or progress toward degree in exercise science/health promotion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Front Desk operations in the Wellness Center.
• Greet clients, answer phones, process payments.
• Assist with client supervision and hands-on training in the Wellness Center.
• Perform clerical and cleaning duties as needed.

• Assists with Hands on training and providing supervision of clients using the Wellness Center.
• Various other clerical and cleaning duties

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic life support certification required.
• Nationally recognized aerobics certification preferred.
• Personal training certification preferred.
• Education: Must have a high school diploma. Ideal candidate may have a Bachelor's degree or be working toward completion of a degree in exercise science or health promotion.
• Experience: Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience working in a medical fitness center preferred.
