Job summary

Trinity Health’s St Mary’s Wellness Center seeks a Fitness Center Aide for a full-time, day-shift role (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm). The position supports front desk operations, greets clients, processes payments, and assists with client supervision and training within the wellness facility.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and certification in life support; health/fitness credentials are preferred. Day one benefits are provided by the facility.

Qualifications

• Basic life support certification required.
• Nationally recognized aerobics certification preferred.
• Personal training certification preferred.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in exercise science/health promotion preferred.

• Assists with hands-on training and supervision of clients using the Wellness Center.
• Various other clerical and cleaning duties.

What you will need :

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Basic life support certification required. Nationally recognized aerobics certification preferred. Personal training certification preferred.


• Education: Must have a high school diploma. Ideal candidate may have a Bachelor's degree or be working toward completion of a degree in exercise science or health promotion.


• Experience: Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience working in a medical fitness center preferred.
