Bass Pro Shops in Tallahassee seeks an energetic Team Leader to guide department associates in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service. You will implement planograms, manage inventory, and promote service-oriented performance across the team.

Key duties include staff coaching, scheduling, and assisting store management with interviewing and training. The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years in Retail Sales experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of department associates to ensure service, merchandising and sales goals are met.
• Prepare and manage task lists and assign duties.
• Execute merchandising directives and maintain plan-o-grams and UPC integrity.
• Assist in staffing, interviewing, training and scheduling; mentor and coach staff.
• Coordinate special events and pricing initiatives; ensure accurate inventory and pricing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues with customers and staff.
• Support supervisory leadership in interviewing, training, and performance evaluations.
