Job summary

Cheney Brothers is hiring for a fish processing associate in our Miami facility. The role involves cutting, packing, and inspecting fish products to meet daily production needs, with a start time around 6:00 AM and a Monday through Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Process/Cut & pack fish to order schedule specifications of fish cuts either by variety of hand tools or by various machines in seafood processing environment.
• Sharpen and adjust cutting/processing equipment. Start-up and shut down equipment.
• Receive and inspect fish to ensure quality with no defects or abnormalities. Maintain proper stock levels on production line.
• Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.).
• Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
