Job summary

Typical schedule starts around 6:00 AM and continues until completion, often around 3 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting fish, maintaining stock on the line, and ensuring adherence to food safety, sanitation, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year of fish cutting experience.
• Physical: Lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Other: Able to work in cold and wet environments.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagrammatic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Process/cut and package fish according to daily production requirements.
• Sharpen and adjust cutting/processing equipment; start-up/shutdown as needed.
• Receive and inspect fish; maintain proper stock levels on production line.
• Identify product forms and package per specs (type, boxes, labels).
• Adhere to SOPs, GMPs, food safety, sanitation requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area; perform other duties as assigned.
