The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Fiscal Technician to support Delaware County Human Services with eligibility, reimbursement, and financial tracking activities essential to children and families served by agency programs.

You will help ensure accurate records, assist with compliance requirements, and coordinate information needed for funding and reporting. The role emphasizes teamwork across County and State departments with no telework option.

Competenze

• One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or three years of work maintaining fiscal records with accounting exposure; and high school graduation.
• One year of experience maintaining fiscal records with an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or any equivalent combination.

Mansioni

• Determine initial and ongoing Title IV-E eligibility for children in agency custody and evaluate active, closed, or transferred cases.
• Ensure maximum reimbursement from federal, state, and other funding sources by reviewing eligibility information and related records.
• Maintain databases, review reports for accuracy, and verify client eligibility information used for program tracking.
• Examine court orders and other legal documents to confirm compliance with Title IV-E requirements and regulations.
• Track and report DRO and Social Security payments, emergency vouchers, and other fiscal activities.
• Communicate with agency staff, state partners, county personnel, and program offices to gather information and support fiscal operations
