Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Fiscal Officer 1 in Delaware County. The role supports financial operations for Adult and Family Services and MATP, maintaining records, reviewing transactions, and preparing key financial reports to ensure responsible funding management.

The position requires strong Excel skills, budgeting and accounting experience, and collaboration with county and state departments. Full-time, with standard government benefits and no telework option.

Qualifications

• Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting.
• Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting.
• Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting.
• One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

Responsabilités

• Apply strong Excel abilities, communicate clearly, and maintain careful attention to detail.
• Work with service providers, program staff, and county financial offices to support efficient processes.
• Create and organize revenue and expense accounts and maintain provider information in the accounting system.
• Prepare documents for auditor review and assist with presentations for various audits.
• Track program and provider budgets and review expenses to support accurate financial oversight.
• Analyze billed rates for services and review provider reports to identify trends and support accurate reporting
