Job summary

The State of Maryland's Worcester County Health Department is seeking a full-time Clerical and Fiscal Supervisor to oversee front office staff, medical records, and related processes. You will supervise clerical operations, handle confidential reports, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.

You will be required to travel to Worcester County sites and occasionally work evenings or weekends to support operations and coverage across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Four years of experience reviewing, verifying, recording, adjusting and balancing financial transactions.
• Substitution options include college accounting courses or military service experience as described.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and fiscal supervision of front office staff, medical records and related processes.
• Manage and supervise clerical staff, handle correspondence, and prepare confidential reports.
• Compile and summarize data concisely for reports and audits.
• Maintain high level of customer service and ensure adherence to laws and policies.
• Travel to Worcester County Health Department sites; may work some weekend/evening hours.
