Job summary

The Ohio State University Mansfield campus is seeking a Coordinator of First-year Engagement and Transition Programs. The role develops and assesses co-curricular initiatives to promote student belonging and successful transition for first-year students.

You will lead targeted programming, partnerships with Admissions and campus change teams, and high-impact engagement experiences that complement academic work. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in student affairs, first-year experience, or higher education programming is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach EXP 1100: 5 sections in AU and 1 section in SP.
• Lead Buckeyes FIRST program development and implementation.
• Provide coaching and connect students to campus resources.
• Coordinate cohort experiences to foster belonging and engagement.
• Collaborate with Admissions and transition teams for onboarding and change initiatives.
