Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advancement in higher education roles.
• Two (2) or more years in admissions, orientation, student support services or related higher education experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Dean of Students to plan and evaluate a comprehensive transition experience for entering undergraduate students.
• Coordinate development and execution of virtual and in-person orientation programs.
• Collaborate with admissions, academic deans, and campus partners to align programming with institutional goals.
• Serve as primary coordinator for transition communications, schedules, and programming for new students and families.
• Oversee all operational aspects of orientation and transition programs including logistics and staffing.
• Assess effectiveness of programs and share findings with leadership to enhance student experience.
• Ensure compliance with university policies related to student programming and onboarding.
• Support a welcoming, inclusive transition environment that fosters engagement, retention, and academic success.
• Work with Student Life Staff to implement student activities that support engagement and belonging.
