About the Children:
- This is the family's first baby. She had a NICU stay and has had some feeding challenges, so the family is looking for a nanny who has experience with infants and can provide calm, supportive care.
- She is an active, growing baby who will benefit from a nanny who enjoys getting out of the house with her for walks, trips to the nearby library, park outings, and other age-appropriate activities.
- The family is looking for someone who can offer helpful experience and guidance when appropriate without being overbearing. A balanced, supportive approach is especially important to them.
About the Family:
- The parents are a same-sex couple and are looking for someone who is LGBTQ+ friendly and comfortable working in a welcoming, inclusive household.
- One parent owns her own business and will be returning to work in mid-November. She has a hybrid schedule and may be in and out of the home throughout the day. The other parent works as a PA, spending three days a week at the clinic and working from home two days a week.
- Both parents are easygoing, grounded, friendly, respectful, and communicative, with a great sense of humor. They have a casual household and are looking for someone who will fit naturally into their home.
- Both parents speak Spanish and would love to find someone who is bilingual, although Spanish is not required.
About the Pets:
- This family has an adopted chocolate Lab mix who is reactive and requires a specific approach - all candidates must be pet friendly.
Additional Notes:
- The family may move to Boulder County in the future, so they are keeping the initial commitment to 9 months while they determine their long-term plans.
- The family is outdoorsy, active, and environmentally conscious. They live in a modest home with a garden and chickens.
