ABC Nannies & Domestics, Inc. is seeking a reliable after-school nanny to care for two children (ages 6 and 9) in Denver. The role involves school pick-ups, activities, light meal prep and homework help, with a focus on safety, organization and upbeat, engaging routines.

The family desires a dependable, communicative caregiver with 2–3+ years of experience and a valid driver’s license. Live-out, 3+ month commitment preferred and a pet-friendly home.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2-3+ years of professional childcare experience, preferably with school-age children.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to renew prior to hire).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction.

Located at: Denver, near Downing and I-25

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday, approximately 2:00/2:30 p.m. to 6:00/6:30 p.m., with a minimum of 4 hours per day. The family is open to four days per week for the right candidate. A minimum of 20 guaranteed hours per week (for 5 days), with the possibility of 25 hours for a five-day schedule.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: Minimum 3-month commitment, with 6+ months strongly preferred.

Start Date: ASAP

• While a longer-term relationship would be ideal, the family welcomes candidates who can commit to at least three months.

• The family has a dog, so candidates must be comfortable working in a pet-friendly home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

• Responsibilities include school pick-ups, safely transporting the children to sports and extracurricular activities, preparing snacks, assisting with light meal prep, overseeing homework and helping the children transition through their afternoon routines.
• Additional responsibilities include engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, keeping their spaces tidy and organized, and communicating with parents about schedules and daily updates.

Travel Requirements:

• No travel is required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

• Minimum of 2-3+ years of professional childcare experience, preferably with school-age children.
• Previous experience caring for multiple children at once, including managing busy afternoon schedules, school pick-ups and extracurricular activities.
• A college degree, or some college, is preferred but not required.
• The ideal candidate will be exceptionally reliable, punctual, organized and a safe, confident driver with a clean driving record. The family is looking for someone who is warm, engaging, communicative and genuinely enjoys working with school-age children while providing structure, encouragement and fun.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

• The family is offering $27-$35/hour (gross).
