Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for the 1st shift in Ottumwa, IA. You will oversee yield and billing clerks, finalize daily yields for management, and ensure reporting accuracy to support efficient operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Excel/Word. Expect early hours with occasional Saturday work when the plant runs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; time management and reliability essential.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; 10-key experience; able to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Review and finalize daily yields for management.
• Supervise yield and billing clerks.
• Recommend improvements to production reporting for efficiency.
• Meet local and corporate deadlines; cover accounting tasks as needed.
• Work 5:00 AM–2:00 PM, Monday–Friday; Saturdays as plant runs.
