Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager for 1st shift to oversee critical warehousing processes, uphold quality standards, and drive safe, efficient operations. You will lead a team, coordinate with customers and vendors, and implement improvements.

The role requires 4 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in logistics, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime. Join GXO to contribute to lean, efficient supply chains.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure commitments are met.
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained and reports completed in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety procedures and OSHA standards.
