Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager for 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 am–4:00 pm) to oversee multiple functions essential to smooth operations. You will lead a team, ensure safety, quality, and timely reporting, and drive improvements across warehousing activities.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, MS Office proficiency, and a bachelor's degree in logistics or related field. Overtime and weekend availability are expected.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained and reports completed in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safe work practices and OSHA standards.
