Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Operations for the 1st Shift (Sunday–Wednesday, 6:00am–4:30pm) to oversee critical operations and lead a team toward high performance. You will drive quality, safety, and process improvements across warehouse functions.

The role requires at least 4 years of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and a track record of staff development. A Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is preferred, with an emphasis on lean practices

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure commitments are met.
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained and reports completed in a timely manner.
• Adhere to and enforce safe work practices per OSHA and other standards.
