Job summary

St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix is seeking a Warehouse Lead to assist the Warehouse Supervisor with team oversight, loading/unloading trailers, receiving goods, and performing quality control in the warehouse.

This role requires FIFO/FEFO compliance, safety discipline, and the ability to work Monday to Friday 5:00am–1:30pm, with occasional Saturday shifts. Strong teamwork and basic math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Able to operate PIT equipment and handheld devices.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Must be able to communicate in English with basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, weighing, put away and staging of incoming product.
• Coordinate storage and rotation of product within coolers/freezers per FIFO/FEFO.
• Oversee loading/unloading and quality checks of outgoing material.
• Maintain safe, clean warehouse and follow procedures.
• Communicate with team, supervisors and customers.
• Support other departments and Saturday operations where applicable.
