Job summary

The Adecco Group in San Diego, CA, seeks a Troubleshooting Technician for 1st shift. You will examine production units, troubleshoot digital and analog circuitry, and follow test procedures to identify and repair faults.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, the ability to work overtime, and an Electronic Technician certificate or AS degree preferred. Safety and quality are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S. and access to export-controlled information and source code.
• Minimum 4–6 years of related experience.
• Technician levels 1–5 vary by experience and responsibilities.
• Electronic Technician Certificate and/or AS Degree preferred.
• Overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard and specialized test equipment.
• Identify fixtures or equipment for testing.
• Calibrate, align, adjust and perform final functional test for each unit.
• Work from specifications, data sheets and schematics.
• Log production test data (work order, model, serial, status, failure).
• Diagnose and determine cause of defects; document defects for reproducibility.
• Troubleshoot to component level for analog and digital circuitry.
• Report trends in failures and initiate root-cause investigations.
• Perform physical inspection to ensure specs and cosmetic requirements.
• Operate equipment safely per procedures.
