Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Sr. Test Technician to join our on-site team on first shift. You will perform disassembly, re-work, assembly, and testing of electrical and electronic equipment to support production and maintenance goals.

The role involves working in a regulated environment with potential overtime and a temp-to-hire pathway. You will read schematics, operate oscilloscope and multimeter test gear, log data, and document results while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in electronics manufacturing/testing or completed OJT on at least 10 products.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose faults.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, LCR meters, power analyzers, and other test instruments.
• Experience with manual and automated test equipment and data logging/analysis tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis on analog and digital circuitry.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, assembly, re-work, and testing of electrical/electronic equipment.
• Set up and use manual and automated test equipment to test circuitry.
• Read wiring diagrams to diagnose faults and perform failure analysis to component level.
• Record work in maintenance/test records and document test results and non-conformances.
• Follow instructions and complete work to specifications with limited supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and participate in 5S and efficiency projects.
• Assist other departments and complete required training to maintain proficiency.
