Job summary

AMETEK Programmable Power in San Diego, CA seeks a Production Technician to perform testing, verification, validation, and troubleshooting on production units. You will diagnose circuitry to the component level and document results for shipment.

The role requires 3+ years in production/test, an Electronic Technician Certificate or AS in Electronics, and legal work authorization in the U.S. 1st shift with possible overtime and a $2,000 sign-on bonus after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in related production/test roles.
• Cert or AS degree in electronics.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and access controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment for production units.
• Calibrate, align, and perform final functional tests per specs.
• Log data: work order, model, serial, test status and failures.
