Job summary

METROLINA GREENHOUSES LLC in Huntersville, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Inventory - Switcher Driver. The role involves safely moving trailers between docks in a fast-paced facility and supporting dock teams as needed.

Responsibilities include driving 18-wheelers within the site, maintaining a safe work environment, coordinating with dock crews and other switchers, and performing dock duties. This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $18.00–$26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience driving a switcher or OTR trailer.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, reliable, able to multitask, and a team player.
• Active driver's license valid in the state of NC.

Responsibilities

• Drive 18-wheelers from dock to dock within the facilities.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate with the dock crews, drivers, and other switchers throughout the facility.
• Operate the fuel truck when needed.
• Complete dock work as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
