Job summary

Metrolina Greenhouses in York, SC is seeking a Greenhouse Associate - Switcher Driver & Additional Support to safely move trailers between docks and assist the dock and labor teams in a fast-paced facility.

This full-time hourly role requires a valid driver’s license, 1+ year of switcher or OTR driving, and the ability to work outdoors in all conditions; you’ll communicate with dock crews and operate the fuel truck when needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) experience driving a switcher or OTR trailer.
• Detailed-oriented, accurate, reliable, able to multitask, and be a team player.
• Active driver's license valid for the state.

Responsibilities

• Drive 18-wheelers from dock to dock within the facilities.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate with the dock crews, drivers, and other switchers throughout the facility.
• Operate the fuel truck when needed.
• Complete dock work as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
