Job summary

The Suter Company, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to support the Production Manager in daily operations within the department, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production with high food safety standards.

You will coordinate staff, manage resources, and implement production schedules to meet output targets, while adhering to GMPs, SOPs, and company values. Core hours are weekdays 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 1–3 years supervisory experience; or HS diploma with 3–5 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety initiatives and processes (safety behavior, SOP and 5-S audits) and participate in safety plans and related activities.
• Monitor and control resources in the production process.
• Ensure team members and their performance are kept up to date through communication and training.
• Prepare weekly meeting presentations and present content.
• Conduct department tours for applicants.
• Complete job closing per company standards.
