The Suter Company is seeking a 1st Shift Refrigerated Products Assistant Production Manager in Sycamore, IL to support daily operations, ensure food safety and quality, and coordinate staff. This role focuses on scheduling, resources, and safe, efficient production aligned with company goals.

Responsibilities include safety initiative coordination, resource monitoring, staff training, weekly presentations, and timely job closeouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent supervisory experience.
• 1–3 years of related supervisory experience; or 3–5 years with HS diploma/GED.
• Understanding of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company data systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety initiatives and processes and participate in safety plans.
• Monitor and control resources in the production process.
• Ensure team members' performance is kept up to date through training.
• Prepare weekly meeting presentations and present content.
• Complete job closing per company standards.
• Comfort with tablets and related technologies in daily use.
