Job summary

The Suter Company is seeking a sanitation worker to clean and sanitize equipment used in production to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. You will follow established sanitation procedures, handle cleaning chemicals safely, and complete required documentation to maintain hygienic conditions and support operations.

Core hours include a 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. shift, with potential weekend work as needed in this make-to-order environment. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of different types of chemicals used, their purpose, and interactions with other chemicals.
• Follow detailed written, verbal or diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily setting up, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment for production and processing.
• Dilute cleaning chemicals and follow all safety precautions when using them.
• Clean equipment, parts, utensils, and containers during washdown and between batches.
• Inspect and ensure sanitary conditions have been achieved.
• Follow all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Complete required HACCP documentation.
