Job summary

Sysco Guest Supply, LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking a 1st Shift Receiving Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking and shipping. You will direct staff, ensure safety and quality, and maintain productivity metrics.

The role requires 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience, proficiency with handheld RF devices, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive performance and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Forklift certification or training within 2 weeks of hire.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities of warehouse workers to ensure procedures, quality and safety.
• Manage staffing, training, performance, and mentoring; address issues and conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate policy changes to staff.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain reports and logs such as productivity and safety records.
• Coordinate with Safety Department on training, observations and inspections.
