Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a hands-on Supervisor, Quality at the DeKalb facility. You will supervise technicians, drive daily performance, and partner across teams to ensure food safety and quality standards. You’ll champion GMPs and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements: B.S. in Food Science or related field, HACCP/PCQI, 2+ years in a food manufacturing leadership role. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to manage CAPA, audits, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field preferred.
• HACCP certification and PCQI experience; GFSI audits a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in a food manufacturing leadership role.
• Sanitation experience strongly preferred.
• System experience: SAP S4Hana, Red Zone, TraceGains, SharePoint, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for quality and food safety during operations
• Lead and mentor technicians and leads; drive daily performance
• Coordinate pre-op and post-op inspections and GMP audits
• Maintain food safety plan and update SOPs as required
• Ensure training of associates on quality programs
• Interact with Ferrara teams to share best practices
• Oversee CAPA, NCR trends and KPI reporting to senior leadership
