Job summary

Hoffer Plastics is seeking an Inspector Technician for 1st shift to inspect molded plastic parts from injection molding and assembly lines. You will gauge parts, perform visual inspections, trim, sort, and pack products while maintaining 5S standards and reporting quality issues.

The role requires reading and following verbal/written instructions, basic math, and proficiency with data entry on production software. Training is provided and a growth path exists within the Quality family.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Competent in inspection procedures and use of measuring equipment.
• Must complete the C level Inspector Technician training program.
• Good communication skills, including proficiency in reading/writing/speaking English.
• Computer proficient; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections on assigned presses and complete required forms and documentation.
• Perform gauging on parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Assist with start-ups on presses and maintain SPC dimensions.
• Data entry into production software and report issues.
• Train others and support level progression within the shift.
