Job summary

Vandor Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician for the 1st shift to work with injection molding parts under the direction of the Quality Manager. You will collect test data and ensure products meet customer requirements, reporting to the production supervisor and collaborating with the Quality Manager.

The role requires strong math skills, knowledge of measurement equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Injection molding experience is required.
• Good math skills are a must.
• Understanding of measurement and test equipment is needed.
• Ability to work overtime as scheduled.

Quality Technician

1st Shift Monday- Friday

SUMMARY: This position works directly with injection molding parts with the direction of the Quality Manager collecting test and measurement data as indicated on the In Process Inspection Sheets. This position reports to the production supervisor but also works directly with the Quality Manager to ensure the products manufactured meet the customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect product for start- up approval on injection processes.
• Perform measurement and test procedures to satisfy in process inspections.
• Verify part to label inspections preparing for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
