Job summary

Hoffer Plastics Corporation in Illinois is hiring Assembly Technicians for the 1st shift to mold parts according to customer specs. Responsibilities include machine setup, IQMS usage, and maintaining a neat 5S workspace while following safety policies.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour with full training, extensive benefits, night shift premiums, and potential for advancement through Level C to Level A as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to successfully complete the "C" level Assembly Technician training requirements
• Must be able to lift 55 pounds on a semi-regular basis
• Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight-hour shift
• Proficient in reading / writing English
• Computer proficient

Responsibilities

• Set up molding machines and input process parameters according to requirements
• Maintain 5S condition and adhere to safety policies
• Utilize IQMS for material handling and production logging
• Progress through Level C, B and A responsibilities as described in job levels
