Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor in Mebane, NC to lead daily manufacturing operations for LV switchgear and related products. You will drive safe, quality-focused execution of schedules, mentor production staff, and implement continuous improvement initiatives onsite at 6801 Industrial Drive.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and experience with ERP systems like SAP to report production data, manage inventories, and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business or related field preferred; or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual production budget and manage within budget.
• Develop teams, projects, goals, and metrics for top operational performance.
• Plan to reduce non-value-added costs and ensure on-time delivery with high yields.
• Collaborate with Operational Excellence to apply lean principles.
• Ensure capacity meets expectations and develop recovery plans as needed.
• Lead by example and promote lean leadership and accountability.
