Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily LV switchgear operations on site. You will drive lean manufacturing, develop budgets, and coach teams to hit safety, quality, and delivery targets. Strong experience in supervision, scheduling, and continuous improvement is required.

Responsibilities include managing production plans, reducing non-value costs, and collaborating with Operational Excellence to optimize performance and working capital.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience coordinating production schedules, workforce allocation, and priorities.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and quality best practices.
• Familiarity with ERP (SAP) for production reporting and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations for LV switchgear and related products.
• Develop and monitor budgets, plans, metrics, and cost improvements.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are met.
• Coach and mentor staff; ensure compliance with ABB values and policies.
