Job summary

IEG Plastics is seeking a Working Shift Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all production activities during the shift. You will provide direct support to process technicians, mold setters, and production associates to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

This leadership role drives productivity, maintains quality standards, and fosters a collaborative, accountable team environment while promoting a culture of safety and 5S on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in injection molding manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of molding processes, materials, and equipment a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and consistent positive attitude.
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• People first, positive, and supportive attitude/personality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shift operations across multiple injection molding machines.
• Assign personnel and manage labor resources to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust to meet customer needs.
• Support production teams with mold changes, troubleshooting, and operational needs.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through communication with other supervisors and plant leadership.
• Uphold safety policies and 5S workplace standards.
